Founded in August 1986 as Clifford Cohen & Co, the practice became Clifford Cohen & Foster in 1987 when David Foster became Managing Partner. Under the GLP banner from 2004, the office has traditionally dealt with a wide range of legal matters and in recent years has specialised in criminal defence matters, family law, conveyancing and personal injury. David Foster is a well-known defendent solicitor in the north Manchester courts, and is on the Law Society's 'Duty Solicitor' scheme.
