Martin Cohen qualified as a Solicitor in 1977. He opened the original practice of Clifford Cohen & Co at Blackley and then later in 1979 at Middleton, part of the Greater Manchester-based 'Clifford Pfeffer Group' association of legal firms. Including the practices at both Rochdale and Crumpsall in Martin was also a Partner, all the associated firms became 'GLP Solicitors' in March 2004. For many years, Martin dealt with all types of work, contentious and non-contentious, but at all times a high volume of conveyancing. For over 20 years, he has dealt extensively in conveyancing, specialising in transactions involving property investors, dealers and builders whilst still retaining a substantial work load of residential conveyancing. In addition to conveyancing, Martin enjoys a long-established expertise in Wills, Probate and Trust law and is happy to discuss with clients an area of law which many find complex and troublesome.
