Sheldon Fagelman

Pendlebury Practice

Sheldon Fagelman qualified as a solicitor in 1988. Since then, he has practised exclusively with GLP Solicitors becoming the Managing Partner at the Pendlebury office in 1990.

Having initially dealt with various areas of law including, Family matters, Conveyancing, Consumer disputes etc, he has specialised in Personal Injury litigation for the past 15 years

Sheldon has handled many different types of personal injury matters from simple road traffic accidents, slips and trips to accidents at work involving catastrophic injuries of significant values in excess of £1 million. In addition Sheldon has considerable experience in dealing with Criminal Injuries Compensation claims, some of which have involved shaken babies with severe brain injuries.

A member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, Sheldon has recovered compensation of several million pounds on behalf of his clients. In addition he regularly hosts a “phone in” on local radio dealing with questions from listeners regarding their legal problems

As well as being a keen sportsman, Sheldon is also a ‘high-flying lawyer’, successfully learning to fly thereby achieving a longstanding ambition.

Sheldon Fagelman is the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice at the Pendlebury-based and Worsley-based practices.

Mr M thought he had missed the chance to bring a claim against his employer for a tripping accident at work over two years ago, however GLP moved swiftly and efficiently resulting in an award of £7,000 for an exacerbation of a back injury.

We brought a claim for personal injury following a road traffic ( hit in rear) accident however, GLP did not accept that this was simply a whiplash injury and after obtaining specialist medical evidence from an orthopaedic surgeon we achieved an award of £10,000 for the injured party.

Mrs B brought a claim for an injured ankle following a tripping accident on her local street. Within just 8 months from receiving her instructions, she received her settlement direct to her bank account.
