Greater Manchester has once again demonstrated its commitment to innovation, resilience, and industrial advancement with the launch of the GM Advance Fund, a £10m investment programme designed to accelerate growth in the advanced manufacturing and materials sector.
This is a major opportunity for innovative businesses, from early-stage tech manufacturers to scaling industrial specialists, seeking financial support to grow, relocate, or strengthen their footprint in Greater Manchester.
Who can apply?
The fund supports:
- New start-ups through to established SMEs
- Businesses based in Greater Manchester
- Companies planning to relocate or expand operations into the region
- Organisations operating in advanced materials or advanced manufacturing
With subsidised finance products available, the fund aims to retain world-class talent and attract future-focused industry into the region, including Bury. Applications remain open until 19 December 2025.
