Our Accreditations & Professional Standards

At GLP Solicitors, our accreditations reflect our commitment to high professional standards, effective practice management and putting our clients first. They recognise our dedication to providing responsible, reliable and client-focused legal services.

At GLP Solicitors, we believe that high standards, clear communication and putting our clients first should be at the heart of everything we do.

Our accreditations and professional memberships reflect our commitment to professional standards, effective practice management and supporting the people and businesses who trust us with their legal matters.

From independent assessments of our client care and case management to specialist recognition in personal injury law, these standards help demonstrate our commitment to providing responsible, professional and client-focused legal services.

GLP Solicitors is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), the independent regulatory body responsible for regulating solicitors and law firms in England and Wales.

SRA regulation means that our firm must comply with the professional standards and regulatory requirements that govern the legal profession. These include requirements relating to professional conduct, client interests and the proper delivery of legal services.

Our regulatory obligations underpin our commitment to acting professionally, responsibly and in the best interests of our clients.

LS Accreditation Lexcel

Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice management quality mark. It recognises law firms that meet defined standards in areas such as client care, case management, risk management and the effective management of their practice.

Achieving Lexcel accreditation involves a rigorous independent assessment, helping demonstrate that a firm has appropriate systems and processes in place to support consistent standards of service.

All GLP Solicitors practices have held Lexcel accreditation since 2002. We were among the first legal practices in the North West to achieve this recognition.

Our practices were most recently re-accredited in November 2025 by Centre for Assessment, the appointed assessment body. Our next re-accreditation is due in autumn 2026.

Maintaining Lexcel accreditation reflects our ongoing commitment to effective practice management, client care and continuous improvement.

GLP accreditation 2026 - 2027

GLP Solicitors is proud to have renewed its accreditation with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) for 2026–2027.

APIL is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping injured people receive the support and justice they deserve. Its accreditation recognises practitioners working in personal injury law who meet the relevant professional and competency requirements.

For us, this recognition means more than a badge. It reflects the importance we place on listening carefully, explaining legal options clearly and supporting people through what can often be a difficult time.

Renewing our APIL accreditation reinforces our commitment to the people who trust us with their personal injury cases and to providing clear, supportive legal guidance throughout the claims process.

Brain Injury Accredited 2026

GLP Solicitors holds Brain Injury Group accreditation for 2026.

Brain injuries can have a significant and lasting impact on individuals and their families. Access to appropriate legal guidance and an understanding of the challenges associated with brain injury can be important when navigating the consequences of an injury.

This accreditation reflects our recognition of the specialist considerations involved in brain injury cases and our commitment to supporting people affected by brain injuries through the legal process.

We understand that every person’s circumstances are different, and we aim to provide clear advice and guidance tailored to the needs of each client.

Armed Forces Covenant

GLP Solicitors is proud to support the Armed Forces Covenant, a national commitment to ensuring that members of the Armed Forces community are treated fairly and are not disadvantaged because of their service.

The Covenant recognises the contribution made by serving personnel, veterans and their families, and encourages organisations to support the Armed Forces community.

By renewing our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant, GLP Solicitors reaffirms its support for the principles of fairness, respect and recognition for those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, as well as their families.

We are proud to support this commitment and the wider effort to ensure that the Armed Forces community receives fair treatment and appropriate consideration.

Our Commitment to Professional Standards

Accreditations are an important part of how we maintain and demonstrate our professional standards, but our commitment goes beyond formal recognition.

At GLP Solicitors, we aim to make the legal process clearer and more manageable by listening to our clients, explaining their options and providing practical guidance tailored to their circumstances.

Whether you need advice on a personal injury claim, a family matter, a property transaction or a business dispute, our team is here to help you understand your options and take the next step.
